MAIN STAGE
The 2018 ZEE London Mela main stage is hosted by Raj Ghai and Vallisa Chauhan from Sunrise Radio.

Raj Ghai is probably best known as a publicist. During his career he has produced music albums, worked as a music journalist, presented on radio and TV shows on both Asian and mainstream channels. He currently presents his weekly Desi Beat show on Colors TV and the breakfast show on Sunrise Radio. He’s an avid cook and is regarded by some as a restaurant and food critic. Raj Ghai also co-presents a fun online cookery show called Easy Cooking Made Difficult. Raj runs his own record label and media agency and is currently developing his own food brand.

Vallisa studied Film and Television at Brunel University. After graduating she started her first radio job and at the same time she started writing her own feature film ‘Those 4 Walls’ which is releasing later this year. Vallisa is also a DJ and regularly DJs at mendhi’s and weddings. Vallisa loves watching films as well as making them so the cinema is definitely one of her favourite hang out spots.
18.50 - ARJUN WITH LONDON MOZART PLAYERS ORCHESTRATED BY FIONA BRICE
Arjun is an award-winning British Asian singer, songwriter, producer and actor who has built a huge following all around the world. Known for his fusion of contemporary Western and Eastern sounds, combining R&B with elements of South Asian music, he will be collaborating with the London Mozart Players, orchestrated by Fiona Brice, to perform his greatest hits and tracks from his new album.
17.35 - ZACK KNIGHT
Zack Knight is a singer, songwriter, composer and music producer who has been making waves in the British Asian music scene. Zack has recently broken into the worldwide market with his song Bom Diggy Diggy which has had over 223 million views on YouTube. He started his career several years ago at the London Mela in the BBC Asian Network Mix tent, and is now one of our headliners.
17.10 - KOOMZ
Amar Koomz is a London based YouTuber turned music star. He has over 150,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel KOOMZ. His music video for Be Mine has had over 1 million views and his current single Mariah was released earlier this year.
16.35 - EZU
Ezu is an up and coming 19 year old singer, songwriter and producer from South London. He beginning to make a name for himself with his covers for famous Bollywood hits and mainstream English tracks. His influences include Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, with whom he recently recorded a track.
16.10 - TA'SHAN
Ta’Shan is a Swiss-Indian singer-songwriter based in London. Her considerable reach includes 39,000 Instagram followers who have enjoyed single releases such as We Get It, Remember, High and Litty Litty (featuring TE dness). She has opened shows in Switzerland for the likes of Ryan Leslie, Sean Paul, Nelly and Lil Jon, and regularly flies to the States to work. Ta’Shan is currently supported by BBC Asian Network, who have chosen her as one of their Future Sounds 2018 artists.
15.40 - SHAYAL, NASH, RIYA & RISH RAI
Shayal is a world renowned music producer who has worked with artists from across the globe. He has toured with R&B megastar Ginuwine and had an Official UK Radio One chart number two hit song.
Birmingham-based Nash is a singer-songwriter who burst onto the music scene in 2017 with his track Drop It Down featuring Abel Miller. He is fast becoming a rising star, securing a coveted spot on BBC Asian Network’s Future Sounds.
Singer-songwriter Riya is just 15 years old and set to create Asian music history. Her debut single, which has been produced by Shayal, was released on 6th July this year.
Rish Rai is a young singer, songwriter and rapper who has gained a cult following online. Under Shayal’s guidance, his unique style means he is destined for greatness.
14.45 - KAYKAY & FRIENDS
Kaykay Chauhan is a composer, producer and pianist who has worked with the likes of Lata Mangeshkar and Hariharan. For the ZEE Croydon International Mela, he has composed an eclectic set of Bollywood hits with a hint of modern popular music. Kaykay will be performing with Paresh Madhaparia (SA RE GA MA PA), Anjana Chauhan and Abira Shah.
14.10 - KASIIKA
Kasiika is a British singer, songwriter and musician. She taught herself how to play piano and honed her musical talent by learning guitar, ukulele and Indian classical flute. Her tracks blend elements of pop, R&B, grime and dance. She sang in the Bach Choir and has performed at celebrated venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Over the years she has travelled and performed in many places including Bangalore, India where she played to a croupd of 10,000. Her debut EP Better Now includes solo tracks and collaborations with UK artists Ayo Beatz and DJ Ironik.
18.15 - OFFICIAL RESIDENT DJs - TEAM B: ANUJ BASSI & SUNNY BIRK
Team B was formed back in 2014 by Sunny and Anuj, with similar visions and goals, they both knew what it took to be diverse from everyone else. Having already brought out 2 singles with upcoming artists such as Desi Crew and Elly Mangat, Team B have hit over 300k views on Youtube and are only looking to get bigger and better. Be sure to follow and watch Team B across all types of social platforms and watch there journey begin.
